Nadine Leah Hurd Earns NPCA Master Precaster Designation

Wall Twp, NJ – The National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) has announced that Nadine Hurd, Production Manager of Garden State Precast earned the Master Precaster designation on March 5 in Fort Worth, Texas, during The Precast Show 2020.

To become a Master Precaster, students must complete six NPCA Precast University courses totaling 89 hours that consist of topics spread across three Production and Quality School levels. The courses train students in production, quality, safety, technical and leadership. The Master Precaster program not only enhances the precast concrete industry’s workforce development efforts, but also provides a path to those in the industry to grow their careers.

“Earning the Master Precaster designation is no easy feat,” said Fred Grubbe, NPCA President. “However, once they have completed the courses, the students understand the processes that go into manufacturing high-quality precast concrete products at a much deeper level, and are better equipped to enhance their workplaces and advance their careers as well as teach and develop other employees.”

Nadine is joined by 49 other Master Precaster graduates in this year's class.
